With a sensitive eye for detail and an instinctive command of visual language, cinematographer Kevin Masundire approaches each project with a thoughtful perspective aimed at creating deep emotional resonance. Based in Vancouver, he crafts images that feel intimate, deliberate, and closely connected to character, approaching every story with its own distinct visual identity.

Kevin has shot feature films including What Happened To Maria (2026) and The Immigrant (2026), alongside numerous short films and music videos. His work has taken him across North and South America, Africa, and Europe, shaping a globally informed cinematic perspective rooted in diverse visual and cultural influences.

In 2025, he was selected for Filmable Society’s inaugural Fellowship Production Stream cohort, where he trained under some of Canada’s most established cinematographers. He holds a BComm degree in Marketing and a diploma in Film Production.

Over the years, Kevin has developed his craft across both commercial and narrative productions of varying scale. His experience includes work on campaigns for Apple, Facebook, Pfizer, Microsoft, Kit Kat, and TD Bank, as well as contributions to television and film productions such as Yellowjackets, Hair or No Hair, Eternity, The Vince Staples Show, The Last of Us and The Smashing Machine. These experiences have shaped his understanding of cinematic storytelling, collaboration, and large-scale production workflows.
